  • Email address (only if you join waitlist)
  • Basic analytics via PostHog

Analytics

We use PostHog for analytics to understand how people use our products. PostHog collects:

  • Page views and navigation patterns
  • Feature usage (which buttons clicked, which features used)
  • Device type and browser (no fingerprinting)
  • Approximate location (country level, from IP)

We do not track you across websites. We do not sell analytics data.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't store your browsing history (CalcBoard extension)

Data Storage

CalcBoard: All your calculations and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. We cannot access this data.

CiteFast: Search queries are processed in real-time and not permanently stored. We use OpenAlex's public API for academic paper data.

Waitlist: Email addresses are stored securely in Cloudflare D1 and used only to notify you about product updates.

Your Rights

  • Clear your CalcBoard history anytime (in the extension)
